Earlier alternatives to the burger were tasteless and dull but turkey is a great choice that is easy to make and has low calories.
This recipe is guide to making ground turkey burgers which can be bought from any store, butcher, or local market. The meat should be ground because it is easier to make patty to cook on the grill. The ingredients below make up to 4 burgers. Sometimes Turkey can be blend, if you want to be adventurous make sure to add the spices or seasoning to the following.
Ingredients:
- One garlic clove chopped and peeled
- 5g of freshly chopped parsley
- 1 finely diced or chopped onion
- Ground black pepper
- Salt
- 10g of seasoned bread crumbs
- 455g of ground turkey
Begin to mix all the ingredients in a bowl thoroughly until completely mixed. It is necessary to mix well because you will to need to make 4 patties. Grab about a palm full of the mix and start shaping the meat into patties. After you have formed the remaining meat place them on a plate and heat up your grill and cook for about 5 minutes on each side if the patties are 3/4 of an inch thick. To prevent food poisoning cook for an additional 1 minute per side. Remove the patties from the grill and let cool for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
