Step 1) Get the best supplies. Visit a local butcher for the best cuts of beef. Local grocery stores usually have great cuts of rib eye steaks as well, but usually a local butcher will have a higher grade of beef. Select the thirty-minute marinade of your preference (if desired).
Step 2) Leave the rib eye steak in a marinade then place it in a two quart glass dish with a cover after marinating. Season the steak with pepper and salt and add marinade. Refrigerate it with its cover for thirty minutes.
Step 3) Set your grill to heat. While your rib eye steak is marinading, heat up your barbeque or gas grill on medium-high. If you’re making use of a charcoal grill, ensure that the coals are glowing before you grill the steaks.
Step 4) Grill the steak for five to seven minutes and another 5 to 7 minutes on the other side. Sometimes grilling depends on the thickness. A meat thermometer can be used to determine the temperature of the steak, in that way you will know when the steak is already done. To do this, insert a meat thermometer into the thickest portion of the rib eye steak. If you desire your steak to be rare, then the steak will have a temperature of 120 Fahrenheit. If medium rare-126 Fahrenheit, Medium-135 Fahrenheit, medium well done-145 Fahrenheit, well done-160 Fahrenheit
Step 5) Flip the steaks using a tong or spatula. Never use a fork as it may poke holes on the steak and it will loose its juices. Grill the steaks for another 4 or 5 minutes then flip the steaks once more on the other side and close the grill for 1 to 2 minutes.
Step 6) Take away the steaks from the grill and let them cool for 2 to5 minutes. Serve and enjoy juicy great delicious rib aye steak!
